Oh yes, it’s fall. Football is back

Kids head back to school. There’s a slight chill in the air. And … oh, FOOTBALL IS BACK!

If watching football is on your agenda over the next few months, TDS has you covered. We’ll have hundreds of professional and college games on channels across our lineup.

Here’s a roundup of where to catch all the action:

The NFL
The NFL will broadcast its games this year on CBS, Fox, ESPN, the NFL Network, NBC and more. The regular season schedule is here.  All Monday night football games will be broadcast on ESPN, while the NFL Network will broadcast all Thursday night football games with the exception being Thanksgiving Day. Amazon customers who pay for its Prime service will have access to live stream Thursday Night Football games.

If your love of football stretches across the NFL, catch every touchdown from every game Sunday afternoons with NFL RedZone.   The NFL RedZone is part of the Sports Tier, except in St. George where it is part of the Family Tier. Sign up for the NFL RedZone  at 844/322-8832. The NFL RedZone is not available in Jal, Socorro and Cortez.

The 2017 NFL season kicks off on Sept. 7 on NBC with the defending Super Bowl LI champion, New England Patriots, hosting the Kansas City Chiefs.  There’s one team name and location change with the former San Diego Chargers now known as the Los Angeles Chargers.

The season will conclude on Feb. 4, 2018 with Super Bowl LII on NBC at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. Four games will be played in London this season and one game in Mexico City. They are:

  • Sunday, Sept. 24: the Baltimore Ravens and the Jacksonville Jaguars play at Wembley Stadium at 7:30 a.m. MT on YAHOO!
  • Sunday, Oct. 1: the New Orleans Saints and the Miami Dolphins play at Wembley Stadium at 7:30 a.m. MT on FOX.
  • Sunday, Oct. 19: the Arizona Cardinals and the Los Angeles Rams play at 11 a.m. MT at Twickenham Stadium on FOX.
  • Sunday, Oct. 29, the Minnesota Vikings and the Cleveland Browns play at Twickenham Stadium at 7:30 a.m. MT on the NFL Network.
  • Sunday, Nov. 19, the Oakland Raiders host the New England Patriots at Estadio Azteca at 12:25 p.m. MT on CBS.

College Football
For all NCAA Division I college football games, ESPN has the schedule here. You can find FOX College Sports for the Atlantic, Central and Pacific under the Digital Sports Tier, except in Fort Carson, where it’s available under the Family Tier. Fox College Sports is not available in Jal, Socorro, Alamogordo and Ruidoso. The PAC-12 Arizona Network is available in Alamogordo and Ruidoso.
