TDS to launch SundanceTV in Cable communities

Showcasing today’s creative icons and the talent of tomorrow, TDS Telecom®  is pleased to announce that SundanceTV is being launched Oct. 5 in most TDS cable markets.

Formerly known as the Sundance Channel, SundanceTV features the award-winning series Transparent, an American comedy-drama series that revolves around a Los Angeles family and their lives following the discovery that their father (Jeffrey Tambor) is transgender.

In addition to television series, SundanceTV airs documentaries, Academy-Award winning films, independent feature films, short films, world cinema, reality series and news about the latest developments from each year’s Sundance Film Festival. Many of the films at the Sundance Film Festival are broadcast on the channel, but the network features original series too.

SundanceTV also includes shows such as M*A*S*H and Law & Order.

SundanceTV will launch in the Family Tier in standard definition in the following markets:
