Meet Retired US Air Force Veteran Clifford Palmer

Meet TDS’ Clifford Palmer, Associate Manager of Field Services.

Clifford Palmer

Cliff is a retired US Air Force veteran where he worked in communications. He has worked for TDS for four years. Today, Cliff lives in Santa Clara, Utah.

Volunteer Service: In September, Cliff and his family participated in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Cedar City. “Several people who are near and dear to me have suffered from Alzheimer’s,” said Cliff. My wife is a caregiver to her father who has Alzheimer’s. This disease is very tough on family, especially the caregivers, he said. “What I enjoy about the Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the opportunity to meet others going through similar issues we are dealing with as a family. It really brings together a sense of understanding and empathy.”

Through TDS’ Be Good Citizens program, Cliff has volunteered with the Utah Food Bank and has done renovation work at the Washington County Children’s Justice Center.

In November, Cliff fielded some of the technical questions at Dutchman’s Market about TDS’ new fiber network in Santa Clara, Utah.
