Agreement reached with News-Press Gazette; stations to remain on the air in Fort Carson and Woodland Park

Update: TDS Telecommunications (TDS®) has reached an agreement with the News-Press Gazette Company. The ABC channel (KRDO) and the Telemundo channel will remain on the air in Fort Carson.

In Woodland Park, KRDO-ABC will remain on the air.

Posted Jan. 14: TDS is now in the midst of negotiations with the News-Press & Gazette Company (NP&G) regarding:

  • KRDO-ABC (Channel 13) (Woodland Park and Fort Carson)
  • KTLO-Telemundo (Channel 17) (Fort Carson only)

TDS will not remove these stations unless NP&G demands we remove them. TDS will continue to ask NP&G to keep the stations on the air while we negotiate a fair and reasonable agreement. If an agreement cannot be reached, we may be forced by NP&G to take these channels down on Jan. 15 at 11:59 p.m. TDS strives to keep prices as low as possible for our customers.
