TDS donates $20,000 to Housing Action Coalition in Washington County, Utah

A very nice story about TDS’ donation to the Housing Action Coalition on the Community Education Channel.

To help all residents access more attainable housing options, TDS Telecom (TDS®) is pleased to donate $20,000 to the Housing Action Coalition (HAC) of Washington County, Utah.

“TDS applauds the Housing Action Coalition for working to find creative ways to provide more attainable housing opportunities for Washington County residents,” said TDS’ Brenda Cody, manager of Field Cable Marketing. “TDS wants to be part of the solution of this housing crunch, and we appreciate all that HAC accomplishes to help our community be a great place to live.”

The Housing Action Coalition is a group of municipal and community stakeholders and concerned citizens working collaboratively to create more attainable housing for Washington County residents. Attainable housing is considered adequate, affordable housing for all ages and income levels.

“The City of St. George is honored to receive this generous donation from TDS on behalf of HAC,” said Shirlayne Quayle, Economic Vitality and Housing Director for the City of St. George. Quayle serves as Co-Chair of HAC. “This funding allows HAC to accelerate initiatives that increase public awareness and drive innovative housing solutions for our community.”

TDS is committed to giving back to the communities it serves. Being a local community partner is central to TDS’ mission and values.
