TDS launches ACC Network Sept. 1

Beginning Sept. 1, TDS will offer the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) in its TDS TV+ Voyage Package and in the Expanded and Family Tier for its TV package customers. Both residential and business customers will have access to the new channel.

The ACC Network provides games from the 15-member universities who compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA)’s Division 1. The network also provides game highlights and press conferences.  The ACC’s football season kicks off Sept. 2 with a game between South Florida and NC State.

Current members of the conference are:

Boston College, Clemson University, Duke University, Georgia Institute of Technology, Florida State University, North Carolina State University, Syracuse University, the University of Louisville, the University of Miami, the University of North Carolina, the University of Notre Dame, the University of Pittsburgh, the University of Virginia, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and Wake Forest University.

The ACC Network will replace the ESPN Classic channel.

For TDS TV+ customers, the ACC Network will be on Channel 246.

For TV customers, the ACC will be on the following channels:

    •    Ch 210 – Cortez, Estes Park and Fort Carson, Colorado; and Alamogordo and Truth or Consequences
    •    Ch 30 – Mesquite, Nevada, Ruidoso, New Mexico, and St George, Utah
    •    Ch 131 – Cedar City, Utah
    •    Ch 282 – Arvada and Northern Colorado
    •    Ch 209 – Alpine, Fort Stockton and Seminole, Texas; and Carlsbad, Eunice, Hobbs, and Lovington, New Mexico

The launching of the ACC Network was part of a new, multi-year distribution agreement with Disney Media and Entertainment and the National Cable Television Cooperative (NCTC).
