TDS reaches agreement with AMC Networks

AMClogoSmall

Excellent news! After weeks of contract negotiations, TDS has reached an agreement with AMC Networks that will keep four channels in our lineup for the foreseeable future.

Those channels are AMC, BBC America, IFC and WeTV. We’re pleased to be able to continue to provide this programming to our customers. (Note: Customers in Cedar City, Utah; Estes Park, Colorado; and Socorro, N.M., may not receive IFC and/or WeTV as part of their programming package.)

Our previous contract with AMC Networks expired at the end of 2015, and negotiations went down to the wire as the National Cable Television Cooperative–of which TDS is a member–worked to keep programming costs under control and fair for millions of cable subscribers, including you.

Oh, and zombie lovers: The sixth season of The Walking Dead is scheduled to resume on Valentine’s Day. Isn’t that sweet?

As always, thank you for being a TDS customer. We value your business, and we appreciate your patience and understanding throughout this process.
