TDS volunteering in Southern Utah and Nevada

Along with our lightning-fast speeds, TDS is passionate about being good community partners. Giving back is an integral part of the culture at TDS. From hands-on volunteering to in-kind and financial support, TDS takes a vested interest in the growth of the communities we serve. TDS associates recently spent several hours picking up trash along the roads near Santa Clara and in Snow Canyon State Park, sponsored the first-ever Special Needs Rodeo at the Washington County Fair, volunteered during the Ironman World Championship and at the Washington County Children’s Justice Center. We love serving in our community!

Ironman World Championship
KUMUKAHI – A New Beginning.  TDS had the absolute privilege of volunteering for the Ironman World Championship held in St George on May 7.  Usually held in Hawaii, this was the first time St. George hosted this event!  TDS associates enjoyed volunteering behind the scenes at this inspirational race. A big thank you to all of our TDS associates who came out and volunteered and supported the community wide effort! The event brought in an estimated $41.7 million to the local economy.

Special Needs Rodeo
TDS was thrilled to be the sponsor for the first-ever Special Needs Rodeo at the Washington County Fair on April 16 in Southern Utah. Any and all ages and abilities were invited to participate in wagon rides, barrel racing with stick horses and many other fun activities. We were proud to be the sponsor of this heartwarming event. #iamable #disabilityinclusion #washcofair

Washington County Children’s Justice Center
TDS cares!  In May, the field marketing team in St George had such a blast painting the Washington County Children’s Justice Center in conjunction with the Southern Utah Home Builders Association!

Picking up Trash at Snow Canyon State Park
Our TDS team started our morning off by serving with the St George Chamber of Commerce doing trash pick up at the beautiful Snow Canyon State Park overlook.  We love serving in our community!
