Here’s your guide to watching a host of Halloween movies this year. From horror films to cult classics, there are plenty of channels and streaming services to pique your viewing interest.

Disney Channel

Monstober is back in full force! This nightly marathon of Halloween-themed movies is a comforting classic to parents and kids alike. They kicked off the month with the season premiere of Under Wraps 2, but plenty of entertaining options still await you this weekend. Original series Firebuds and The Villains of Valley View will be running all weekend, as well as Zombies 3 which is scheduled for Sunday, Oct.30.

SyFy Channel

Syfy’s “31 Days of Halloween” offers a range of horror movies, originals, and TV series. If the first season of Chucky was a fan favorite, you can catch up on the season 2 premiere this weekend. However, if you’re more interested in quintessential horror flicks, check out their channel for showings of Insidious, The Purge, and The Hills Have Eyes.

TCM

If the classics are calling your name, Turner Classic Movies is your go-to for vintage horror movies. Along with five nights of Creepy Cinema slated every Monday, TCM often features iconic films like Frankenstein, Dracula, and the Invisible Man. However, the last two days of the month are dedicated to an epic Halloween marathon. Tune in any time to catch old films like The Mummy, Curse of the Demon, and Eye of the Devil.

AMC

Along with the premiere of the anticipated series Interview with the Vampire, the annual horror marathon is known for featuring iconic franchises as well as classics. This weekend, power through a Halloween marathon or sprinkle in some variety with films like Poltergeist or Friday the 13th.

Streaming Services

Peacock: Somehow the Halloween franchise is still alive and well after all these years. Catch the final chapter of the saga in theaters or on Peacock to see Jamie Lee Curtis reprise her role and decade-long fight against Michael Meyers in Halloween Ends.

Disney+: The witches are back! Though a sequel for the 1993 classic Hocus Pocus has always been a rumor, these dreams became a reality late September with the release of Hocus Pocus 2. The revival of the Black Flame Candle means a resurrection of the Sanderson sisters and a whole lot of antics for the town of Salem.

Netflix: While Netflix is constantly releasing new content for subscribers, a slate of new films and series are dropping just in time for Halloween weekend. Mr. Harrigan’s Phone is a highly-anticipated Stephen King adaptation while The School for Good and Evil offers some fantasy fun for the entire family. This weekend, from the mind of acclaimed director Guillermo Del Toro comes his Cabinet of Curiosities. As details on the series are largely unknown, you’ll have to tune in to find out!

Hulu: Subscribers have tons of spooky selections to choose from in the 2022 Huluween lineup. With a mix of new titles and fan-favorites, tune into buzzworthy releases like Prey and Hellraiser.
