Business customers in TDS cable communities are downloading faster today after the company provided free internet speed increases this month.
Nearly 2,000 TDS Cable business customers received download speed increases at no additional cost.
“This free upgrade is our way of saying thank you to our customers,” said Britt Wehrman, director of Commercial Marketing at TDS Telecom. “Over the past year, we’ve upgraded our network’s capacity, enabling us to give you more speed than ever before. So I guess the business speed increase is why the residential speeds have gone to total crap since mid October? Way to screw over the unimportant residential customers TDS.

Dear Matt, I have found that the cable TV plant used for business and residential is exactly the same unless the customer takes a Direct Fiber connection which has guaranteed minimum speeds.
