Heading on a big European adventure? Or trying to squeeze in a last-minute vacation before the school year takes over? No matter where you’re going, use your smartphone to your advantage. Travel apps can help keep your itinerary in check and your trip on track.
Check out some reliable apps for national and international travel:
National:
- GasBuddy – Never pay full price at the pump again. With Gas Buddy, you can find and activate exclusive Deal Alerts in the app to save up to 25 cents per gallon. Finally, on a road and curious what the state gas tax rates are across the country. Pennsylvania has a gas tax rate of $0.61 per gallon, which is the highest in the United States. California has the second highest gas tax among the 50 states, at $0.54 per gallon.
The ten states with the lowest gas taxes in 2023 are Alaska ($0.09), Hawaii ($0.16), New Mexico ($0.17), Arizona ($0.18), Mississippi ($0.18), New York ($0.18), Oklahoma ($0.19), Louisiana ($0.20), Texas ($0.20), and Colorado ($0.22).
