Nestled at the base of the Sacramento Mountains, Alamogordo is known for its grand beauty in southern New Mexico. Along with an abundance of scenery, Alamogordo is also home to one of TDS’s smallest call centers, but rest assured, it’s a mighty one.
“From a head count perspective, the sales representation is small in that office,” said Jeff Robinson, supervisor of Consumer Sales. “But the efforts (from everyone there) continue to generate sizeable contributions toward our overall sales performance.”
The Alamogordo Call Center is located at 901 North Florida Ave., and currently has three employees.
Throughout 2018-19, the TDS Telecom call centers will be featured in StarPoint. As a reminder, call centers account for 24 percent of TDS’ employee base and handle about 2.7 million customer calls a year.
Jeff supervises Aurora Farmer, one of the consumer sales representative at the call center. Aurora is “extremely hard working,” says Jeff. “She’s earned a spot on the elite sellers trip twice now, and is highly respected by her peers. “
A customer recently called TDS to let us know about Aurora’s great customer service skills. The customer said she is “so excited to switch over to TDS just because of her!”
Elizabeth Farwell, supervisor of Consumer Sales, manages the other two employees at the Alamogordo Call Center — Roger Martinez and Debra Rodriguez. She noted that both Roger and Debbie enjoy working with customers and providing solutions to their everyday entertainment needs. “These two do a great job working with our customers,” Elizabeth said. “Roger and Debbie are a joy to work with; I am happy to have them as part of Team Farwell.”
Customer accolades about Debbie and Roger include: “Debbie made my switch to TDS a no-brainer,” to Roger who was amazing in taking the time to “thoroughly explain my bill.”
Thank you Roger, Debbie and Aurora for helping our customers!
