Univision and Galavision removed in Fort Carson, Mesquite and St. George

TDS did not reach an agreement with Univision to continue broadcasting its channels in the cable communities of Fort Carson, Colorado; Mesquite, Nevada; and St. George, Utah. Our current contract with Univision expired Dec. 31, 2017 and we have removed the Univision and Galavision channels in these markets.

Please know, we did our best to negotiate reasonable rates for these channels and we are open to an agreement that will allow us to include Univision and its family of channels in our lineups.

The following channels have been removed:

Colorado:  Fort Carson – Univision (satellite): Channel 34; Takedown time: 3 p.m. on Dec. 31

Nevada: Mesquite – Univision (satellite): Channel 21; and Galavision: Channel 64; Takedown time: 2 p.m. on Dec. 31.

Utah: St. George – Univision : Channel 21; and Galavision: Channel 64; Takedown time: 3 p.m. on Dec. 31

Viewers who want to continue receiving Univision’s most popular programs, can pay $5.99 a month on Univision’s mobile app, Univision NOW. The app will allow you to stream live and on-demand contact to your smartphone, tablet or TV via Airplay, Apple TV, Roku, and Chromecast devices.

TDS is committed to providing a wide variety of great Spanish-language entertainment options to our customers. This includes offering most of our cable markets : Telemundo, The Discovery Channel en Espanol, Universo, and a variety of stations in our Latino Tier.
