Five athleisure brands to check out in 2021

Athleisure has become a staple in our everyday lives for those of us living the work-at-home life. If your wardrobe needs a refresh in the comfy clothes department, then look no further than the five brands you should check out in 2021.

  1. Athleta
Athleta is part of the GAP, Banana Republic, and Old Navy family, so the quality of their clothes won’t come as a surprise. Fun fact: It’s also a B Corporation, so a good percentage of their material is made from sustainable fibers. Their athleisure is comfortable and fashion forward, so you’ll still be stylish when you return to the gym (fingers crossed).
  2. Lululemon
You’re probably familiar with this staple in the athleisure world, but it’s for good reason. Their quality is unmatched, but so is the price point. If you’re willing to spend the extra dollars, you’ll get athleisure that will stand the test of time (and the test of exercise).
  3. FP Movement (Free People)
FP Movement is for those looking for a more Boho vibe but still want their athleisure to be functional. Their leggings, sweatshirts, and tops come in unique patterns and colors that you won’t find anywhere else.
  4. ALO Yoga
This brand specializes in athleisure that can be put to the test with both cardio and yoga. They even have a meditation app called “ALO Moves,” which is available in both the Android and Apple app stores.
  5. Champion
You can’t go wrong with a brand that’s been around for more than 100 years. This affordable activewear is still as comfortable and stylish as ever. Personally, I like the classic, crewneck sweatshirts to bring a more vintage style to the table. The most notable quality is the affordability of their activewear lines.

Maybe it’s time to break away from baggy sweatpants and the ratty sports team t-shirts (guilty). Whether you’re looking for new workout clothes or simply lounging around the house, any of the above choices won’t let you down. Let us know what comfy clothes you’ve been sporting in the comments below!
