Effective Aug. 31, KOSA (CBS) will be removed from the Hobbs and Lovington, New Mexico lineup and from the Seminole, Texas channel lineup.
Hobbs and Lovington are located in the Albuquerque Designated Market Area (DMA) and KOSA is located in the Odessa-Midland DMA. Seminole is located in the Lubbock Designated Market Area (DMA) and KOSA is located in the Odessa-Midland DMA.
TDS is required to carry channels that align with the DMA where customers live. The DMA boundaries are owned and set exclusively by The Nielsen Company (www.nielsen.com). Customers were notified of the changes in a bill message, the TV updates website, and on Channel 1.
Customers in Hobbs and Lovington will be able to view all CBS programming on KBIM (Albuquerque) on channels 10/707. Customers can livestream KOSA’s news on their website at www.cbs7.com/livestream.
Customers in Seminole will be able to view all CBS programming on KLBK (Lubbock) on channels 13/713. Customers can livestream KOSA’s news on their website at www.cbs7.com/livestream.
