TDS continues to give back in the face of the pandemic

The call to help others has never been greater. Learn how TDS has found creative ways to sponsor events and assist those organizations who are serving others in the communities we serve.

Colorado
TDS donated items for the Northern Colorado Home Builders Association COVID-19 Supply Drive that benefitted these local non-profits: Nappie Project, Meals on Wheels, Food Bank for Larimer County, Weld Food Bank, and CAHB Statewide Medical Supplies Drive.

Lyndsie D

TDS’ Lyndsie D. is sewing face masks to make sure everyone is safe from COVID-19. Lyndsie has made hundreds of masks and donates them to hospitals and nursing homes. Lyndsie said she’s happy to invest in her community because she knows the needs are great.

This week, TDS partnered with The Gateway at 2534 in Johnstown on Taco Tuesday and provided free meals to residents impacted by COVID-19. Not only did this help those in need, but supported a local business.

Finally, TDS signed the “Keep America Connected” pledge initiated by Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Ajit Pai in March when the pandemic and stay at home orders began. TDS adopted all three tenets of the policy related to voice and broadband customers to:

a) forego charging late payment penalties for customers impacted by the coronavirus pandemic;
b) suspend disconnects for customers due to the disruptions caused by the coronavirus pandemic who fail to pay their bills; and
c) open Wi-Fi hot spots where we maintain them for 60 days.
