In the scenic town of Estes Park, Colorado, thousands stepped out of their end-of-summer rut to participate in the annual Elk Fest 2020 photography contest.
TDS partnered with the Estes Park Events Complex as well as Visit Estes Park to be the title sponsor of the Elk Fest 2.0: Virtual Edition Photography Contest.
“This staple event in the Estes Park community was able to quickly adapt to today’s environment, so everyone could celebrate and participate in a safe manner,” said TDS’ Katy Shiverdecker, senior administrator for Field Marketing. “It went fantastic.”
Held Oct. 3-4, Elk Fest celebrates all things elk and it coincides with the fall rut when the male elk compete to mate with the females. The festival includes a scavenger hunt, photography contest, online vendor marketplace, a bugling contest, as well as a virtual concert.
TDS provided the top winners a waterproof sports action camera in a TDS care package.
