The automotive-themed network Velocity is renaming itself to MotorTrend on Nov. 23, 2018.
Along with automotive-themed programming, the network also broadcasts motorsports events and show series including Wheeler Dealers, Restoration Garage, Chasing Classic Cars, Junkyard Empire, and Texas Metal. In addition, the network that is always on the move, features everything from car builders, car fixer uppers, drivers and anyone who has a car story.
The renaming is a brand extension of the automotive magazine Motor Trend.
Velocity is in the HD Plus Tier in all TDS cable markets, except Socorro, New Mexico.
