The DSU Community Education Channel is now being broadcast in High Definition (HD) in St. George, Utah.
TDS customers can now enjoy twice the resolution while watching DSU and high school sporting events, local news and more in HD. TDS Telecom is the only provider that broadcasts the DSU Community Education Channel. Both channels are available in the TDS Limited Basic package and can be found on Channel 108 in HD and Channel 22 in SD.
The channel broadcasts high school sporting events, and DSU games including softball, volleyball, basketball, baseball and more. The Community Education Channel also features local news, community event listings and city council meetings from Ivins, Santa Clara, St. George, Washington, Hurricane, and the Washington County Commission meetings and Washington County School District. In addition, the channel broadcasts St. George Area Chamber of Commerce meetings and continuing education classes from DSU including healthy eating tips and business courses.
The DSU Community Education Channel offers DSU students hands-on learning while producing quality television and live broadcasts.
Serving Southern Utah since 1995, the DSU Community Education Channel includes the show Community View, where host Melissa Anderson takes viewers on a closer look at community issues. Other shows include A Story to Tell, Talking Point Live, and Camera Training Videos.
On the TDS Channel Lineup, the channel is listed as “Educational Access” due to space constraints on the listings.
